Check the Netbook Power Source First
Sometimes you may find that your netbook computer is not powering up as you would expect it to. This is a fairly common issue with the cheapest netbooks as well as the most expensive models and the problem is usually quite simple. Try these basic tips first and they may just resolve this simple situation.
When the netbook is turned on using the power switch and the computer does not boot up or show any signs of power here are a few basic steps to take. When you push the power button you will see a power indicator light glowing which will let you no that electricity is properly being supplied to the netbook computer as is the case with any computer. In the event that this light is not lit-up then you should check to see if you are using battery power. If you are, then in this instance the battery may simply be in need of charging.
Find the AC power adapter and plug this into the netbook and make sure it is plugged into a functioning electrical wall outlet as well. Following these simple steps will in most instances not only allow you to boot up your netbook computer now, but it will begin the process of actually charging your battery as well.
